JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to support our marketing department's day-to-day operations. This role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our Salesforce database, supporting digital advertising administration, and assisting with content generation, particularly across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. You will work under the direction of the Marketing Manager executing assigned tasks and helping ensure our marketing campaigns reach the right targets, prospects, and customers.

This is an execution focused, support role; however, there's a real opportunity to contribute to how marketing campaigns and strategies come together day-to-day. The core of the role is being the reliable hands-on support that keeps our systems clean, our campaigns properly targeted and managed, and our content and events calendar moving.

Salesforce / Data

  • Clean, organize, and maintain the Salesforce database on an ongoing basis, including deduplication, data entry corrections, and record standardization.
  • Ensure Salesforce data accuracy so digital marketing campaigns properly target the correct segments, prospects, and customers.
  • Build and maintain segmented lists and audience groupings within Salesforce to support campaign targeting.
  • Assist with importing new leads and list uploads from trade shows and events.
  • Run basic reports on lead status, campaign attribution, or database health as requested.

Digital Advertising

  • Assist with digital advertising administration, including campaign setup support, monitoring, reporting, and basic optimizations as directed.

Social Media / Content

  • Support organic and paid social media efforts across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram, including post drafting, scheduling, community engagement, and basic paid campaign administration.
  • Monitor social channels for comments, messages, and mentions, flagging anything needing a response.
  • Organize photo and video assets for use in social media posts, and repurpose existing content, such as spec sheets or marketing collateral, into effective social posts.
  • Assist with copywriting and content support for campaigns as assigned, following established brand guidelines and messaging direction provided by your manager.

Vendor / Event Coordination

  • Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for outside vendors, ensuring all marketing materials and collateral are produced, delivered, and accounted for.
  • Maintain a shared event calendar tracking upcoming events, deadlines, and vendor deliverables.
  • Coordinate event scheduling and logistics, including shipping trade show materials to and from event venues.

Reporting / General

  • Track and report on basic campaign metrics (open rates, click through rates, engagement) as requested to support decision making.
  • Assist with administrative and logistical tasks related to marketing projects, trade shows, and events as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • BS / BA in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent work experience.

 

Work Experience

  • 1-3 of experience in a Marketing position.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of marketing concepts, including social media, digital advertising, and content marketing.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and CRM systems (Salesforce experience a plus but not required).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) from a personal or coursework/internship perspective, with an interest in learning the business side of social marketing.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools is a plus.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, on-brand copy for social posts and marketing materials.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks, meet deadlines, and follow through on assigned responsibilities.
  • Eager to learn, coachable, and comfortable asking questions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).


Physical Requirements

  • Good visual acuity to process reports and review drawings, designs, or blueprints.
  • Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods.
