Arvato is hiring a customer relationship-driven Account Manager to manage our reverse logistics services for a high-tech client. In this role, you will lead a team of Customer Service Representatives, have P&L ownership, supervise program execution and changes to the scope of the program. You will apply your technical and operational knowledge to continuously improve reverse logistics processes. Maintaining good communication and working relationship with clients as well as key decision-makers internally is critical to the success of the company and the client's expectations. You will also serve as a liaison between the client's expectations and the operational output to meet or exceed established Service-Level-Agreements (SLAs). Success in this role will be determined by achieving key targets related to financial performance, timely service, scope control and growth.
YOUR TASKS
  • Act as key client contact and build strong working relations with decision makers
  • Ensure SLAs are met and monitored per contractual agreement
  • Closely collaborate with operations management and quality assurance
  • Manage the material management and procurement function of the refurbishment program
  • Provide efficient customer service through daily management of the Customer Service Team including motivating, coaching, problem solving, recognizing and rewarding
  • Manage financial objectives and reporting including gathering data for invoicing, preparing invoices, financial forecasting, and participating in annual budgeting process
  • Ensure a smooth interface among all internal departments (Service Delivery, IT, Finance, Customs/Trade, Transport and all other operating entities involved) to enable a successful implementation or operation of the agreed scope of the business
  • Lead new process development and continuous improvement throughout the supply chain to meet quality standards
  • Participate and prepare for weekly/monthly/quarterly Business Reviews to report on day-to-day business, SLAs, and project implementations

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business (or comparable work experience)
  • Proven track record of min. 3 years of Account Management, Program Management, or Customer Service Management
  • Experience in product refurbishment or production
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Assertive, analytical and able to establish priorities
