Overview
Ready to kick your career into high gear? Virginia Tire & Auto is looking for an Warehouse Associate to join our growing warehouse team. We are looking for a knowledgeable inventory professional with experience tracking and counting stock items.
Job Description
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the tracking, stocking, and organization of each stores inventory. This role reports to the Warehouse Manager. They are goal oriented, and deadline driven; consistently keeping accurate records of inventory. They exercise attention to detail and following the proper processes and policies to maintain store inventory.
Responsibilities
Overall duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Physically count stock items, restock, and organize store shelves to ensure inventory is maintained in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Assist in product changeovers.
  • Assists in warehouse functions (i.e., pull and pack orders for delivery, maintain clean and organized workspace).
  • Maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
  • Assist store associates on any challenges related to stocking or product availability.
  • Communicate to Warehouse Manager challenges experienced or any additional needs observed while in the field.
  • Assist with other Ad Hoc projects related to inventory and logistics at Virginia Tire & Auto
  • Work towards achieving any company-set goals or objectives.
  • Work from various locations each day
  • Assist with keeping the parts room clean and well-organized.
  • Assist with inventory stocking and maintenance.
  • Assist with cleaning and starting at the store locations.
  • Check and respond to company email or other communications in a timely manner.

Education & Skills
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to lift up to 55lbs.
  • Must be able to safely climb a ladder.
  • Work in a fast-paced, indoor/outdoor environment
  • Have and maintain a clean driving record and valid US Driver's License
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Basic Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communications
