Job description

Join a dynamic HR technology team supporting key Workday initiatives with a strong focus on Advanced Compensation, Gem, and related HCM processes. This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with business and IT teams to shape solutions, improve workflows, and contribute to meaningful enterprise-wide projects.

Responsibilities
  • Support annual compensation review cycles and related Workday processes.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into clear functional documentation for HR technology projects.
  • Develop detailed UAT plans, build test cases, and lead testing activities to validate solutions.
  • Participate in the implementation and ongoing support of Gem.
  • Collaborate with IT to align HR needs with system configuration and technical delivery.
  • Assist with project planning, timelines, team communication, training, and documentation as needed.
  • Perform data audits to help ensure accuracy and support program execution.
  • Monitor support queues, route requests appropriately, and help resolve enhancement items.
  • Create and maintain Workday reports to support business needs.
  • Partner with IT on issue analysis, troubleshooting, and validation of fixes before release.
  • Use AI tools where relevant to streamline testing, documentation, audits, and process improvement.
Skills
  • 8–10+ years of HRIS/HCM experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Advanced Compensation.
  • Working knowledge of Workday Core HCM, Performance Management, Security, and Reporting.
  • Strong ability to gather requirements and document functional needs clearly.
  • Experience leading UAT planning and execution.
  • Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills for analysis and data auditing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot to improve productivity and support workflows.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Gem.
  • ATS or talent acquisition technology experience as a possible substitute for Gem.
  • Background supporting recognition tools, Jira, or similar systems.
  • Experience creating lightweight tools or process improvements using AI and Workday data.
  • Exposure to project coordination, training, or change management activities.
