Job description

Seeking Candidates for our Houston, TX location.
Allegiance Crane & Equipment a top employer for Riggers / Advanced Riggers! We are looking for full-time hard-working, team players to join our team.

  • Safely drive tractor-trailer to transport cranes and equipment to job sites.
  • Properly secure equipment to the trailer for preparation for hauling.
  • Utilize proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting of the load, including hand signals for the safe operation of the crane.
  • Connects pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts, shackles, and clamps
  • Dismantles, maintains and stores rigging equipment
  • Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability before engaging in hoisting and lifting

REQUIREMENTS
  • NCCCO or NCCER certification required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Class A CDL required to drive commercial vehicles.
  • Minimum 2 years experience driving commercial vehicles.
  • Minimum 1 year prior experience rigging cranes or similar equipment
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays.
  • Professional communication skill to be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, stoop, climb, and move about shop and equipment. Heavy physical effort required. Must be able to lift up to 75 lb. Will regularly be exposed to noise, heat, dust, and fumes around job sites and yard. Extreme weather conditions possible, at times. Must be able to drive a vehicle for local travel.
