Advanced Riggers are skilled professionals who specialize in the safe and efficient moving, lifting, and positioning of heavy loads or equipment, often in construction, manufacturing, or entertainment industries. They use specialized rigging equipment such as cranes, hoists, and pulleys, and are responsible for planning and executing complex lifts that require advanced technical knowledge. Advanced Riggers must understand load calculations, safety regulations, and proper signaling methods to ensure operations are performed without incident. Their expertise is essential for projects where standard rigging techniques are insufficient or where challenging environments are involved.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as an advanced rigger?

To thrive as an Advanced Rigger, you need expertise in load calculations, rigging techniques, and a solid understanding of safety regulations, typically backed by relevant certifications like NCCCO or OSHA.
