Job Summary:
Grand Strand Medical Center and River Region Psychiatry Associates are looking for a Psychiatrist to join their team in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
About the Role:
This position offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality care across diverse treatment settings, including inpatient, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). You will also provide consultative services, oversee mid-level providers, and play a key role in our GME program by teaching and supervising residents and medical students.
Our practice is expanding to include outpatient services, creating an exciting opportunity to be part of our growth and contribute to program development.
With a manageable call schedule (one weekend per month) and a competitive salary, this role provides a balance of professional challenge and personal lifestyle in the beautiful coastal city of Myrtle Beach.
Qualified Candidates/Details:
  • Must be board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
  • Must have a South Carolina license or be able to obtain a South Carolina Medical License prior to start
  • Clinical responsibilities consist of inpatient, PHP, and IOP settings
  • 22-bed adult only facility (no pedicatric patients)
  • Monday to Friday Schedule
  • One weekend per month of Call
  • Supervision of APP support is required
  • Interest or experience in teaching and mentoring medical trainees
  • Dedication to patient-centered care
