Responsibilities
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Physician Assistant, you will:
  • Complete comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Manage psychiatric medications and monitor treatment response
  • Participate in daily inpatient rounding
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, nursing staff, and hospital teams
  • Provide evidence-based psychiatric care in an inpatient behavioral health setting
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation

Requirements
  • Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Physician Assistant with psychiatric experience
  • Active Tennessee license or eligibility for Tennessee licensure
  • Tennessee DEA or ability to obtain
  • Experience in inpatient psychiatry, behavioral health, or acute mental health preferred
  • Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
  • Passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care
