Job description

DBS Staffing Services, Inc. is looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative with a strong focus on Excel skills to join our customer's team. Located in the industrial area near the Little Creek-Fort Story Base in Virginia Beach, our staffing agency is committed to connecting skilled professionals with excellent opportunities.

In this role, you will serve as a vital link between customers and our client's services, actively managing orders and providing exceptional support through phone, email, and in-person interactions. Your Excel expertise will be crucial for data input, reporting, and enhancing customer support functions.


NOTE: This role is fully on-site and not eligible for remote or hybrid work. Candidates must currently reside within the Tidewater area or be planning to relocate to the area independently of placement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and orders via phone, email, and chat, ensuring professional and timely service.
  • Enter, update, and maintain customer and order information accurately within company systems and Excel.
  • Use intermediate to advanced Excel functions to organize data, manage trackers, and generate reports for order management and operations.
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
  • Conduct follow-ups with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and overall customer experience.

Schedule:

  • This position operates Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with Friday ending at 4 PM.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service, with a strong preference for roles focusing on data entry and Excel.
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, are essential.
  • Medium-Advanced proficiency in Excel, including functions like VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulas.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.

Benefits
