The Role
The Marketing Analytics & Data Science Lead is a senior individual contributor responsible for advancing Kyndryl's marketing measurement, audience intelligence, and predictive analytics capabilities. This role serves as the analytical engine behind marketing strategy, helping the organization better understand buyer behavior, optimize investment decisions, and improve marketing's contribution to revenue growth.
This role combines deep analytical expertise with business acumen to solve complex marketing challenges through advanced analytics, attribution methodologies, predictive modeling, and audience insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing actionable recommendations that influence strategic marketing decisions across channels, audiences, and the customer lifecycle.
Working closely with marketing leaders, campaign teams, digital teams, operations, sales, and data engineering, this role will identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through data-driven decision making, and advanced analytical techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Measurement & Attribution
Lead the evolution of marketing measurement frameworks and attribution methodologies that quantify marketing's contribution to pipeline, revenue, and business growth.
Develop and evaluate multi-touch attribution approaches, influence measurement strategies, and channel contribution models that guide investment decisions and budget optimization.
Identify measurement gaps and recommend improvements in data collection, metadata strategies, campaign tagging, and platform integrations to improve reporting accuracy and analytical rigor.
Advanced Analytics & Predictive Modeling
Design and develop predictive models that improve marketing effectiveness, including response scoring, buyer propensity models, lead prioritization, audience engagement models, and lifecycle analysis.
Apply statistical techniques, machine learning methodologies, and AI-enabled approaches to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities hidden within large marketing and sales datasets.
Translate analytical findings into practical recommendations that improve conversion rates, pipeline generation, audience engagement, and marketing ROI.
Audience Insights & Segmentation
Develop audience segmentation frameworks that support account-based marketing, customer expansion strategies, digital engagement programs, and campaign personalization.
Analyze customer, account, behavioral, technographic, and engagement data to identify growth opportunities and uncover actionable audience insights.
Analytics Strategy & Thought Leadership
Serve as a subject matter expert on advanced analytics, marketing measurement, and data science methodologies within the marketing organization.
Drive innovation by evaluating emerging analytical techniques, AI capabilities, and measurement approaches that improve marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior marketing leaders and stakeholders, translating complex methodologies into clear business actions.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced SQL skills with experience working across large and complex datasets.
  • Strong proficiency with Python, R, or comparable analytical and visualization platforms.
  • Experience developing predictive models, scoring methodologies, segmentation frameworks, or statistical analyses used in business decision making.
  • Strong understanding of attribution methodologies, funnel measurement, and marketing performance evaluation.
  • Experience working with CRM, marketing automation, data warehouse, and digital measurement platforms.
  • Ability to independently scope, lead, and deliver complex analytical projects from problem definition through implementation.
  • Strong communication and data storytelling skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience leveraging AI and machine learning techniques to automate analyses, accelerate insight generation, or improve business outcomes.

Prefered Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency with Power BI
