Description
About American Veterinary Group

At American Veterinary Group (AVG), everything we do starts with our people and our values. We exist to support veterinary teams so they can focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional care to pets and the people who love them.

We partner closely with our hospitals, listening first and leading with trust. Our approach is rooted in nurturing relationships, acting with unwavering integrity, communicating transparently, pursuing growth, and embracing constant innovation. These values guide how we support our teams across operations, medical leadership, recruiting, training, marketing, finance, and HR, while preserving medical autonomy and the unique culture of each hospital.

Our hospitals are supported by a dedicated community of veterinarians, technicians, and support professionals who collaborate, learn from one another, and show up for their teams every day. As we continue to grow, our commitment remains the same: to build an environment where people feel supported, heard, and empowered to grow in their careers.

If you are looking for a place where values drive decisions and people come first, there is a seat at the table for you at AVG.
About the Position:

The Marketing Analytics Manager leads the strategy, development, and optimization of data-driven marketing analytics for American Veterinary Group. This role is central to transforming complex customer and marketing data into actionable insights that directly drive patient acquisition, visit frequency, retention, and overall business growth.

Partnering closely with Marketing, Finance, Database Analytics, IT, and Operations, the Manager ensures data accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment across all campaigns. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in customer relationship marketing and a proven ability to leverage internal, external, and digital data to influence executive-level strategy and organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Insights: Translate complex metrics into actionable insights for senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Performance Visualization: Build and maintain interactive dashboards (Power BI, Sigma, Looker Studio) to visualize KPIs and campaign trends, supporting real-time decision-making.
  • Campaign Optimization: Partner with marketing teams to measure multi-channel effectiveness, scope tracking requirements, and analyze conversion funnels and user journeys.
  • Process Automation: Continuously enhance planning and reporting workflows through automation and modern analytics tools, including AI integration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align database strategies with broader marketing efforts by partnering with Finance, IT, and third-party vendors to optimize data environments and SaaS tools.
  • Advanced Analytics: Lead audience modeling and predictive analytics initiatives while directing A/B and multivariate testing strategies to improve ROI.
  • Digital Monitoring: Track and interpret website analytics (GA4/Big Query), monitoring key indicators such as bounce rates, session duration, and exit rates to optimize user experience.
  • Executive Reporting: Prepare high-level materials and presentations to communicate findings with clarity and precision to technical and non-technical audiences.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Power BI, Sigma, or Looker Studio for dataset management and dashboard optimization.
  • Data Environment Knowledge: Required experience with Snowflake, SQL, and CRM systems (e.g., Braze, Salesforce). Proficiency in GA4 and Big Query is highly preferred.
  • Advanced Analytics: Strong skills in financial modeling, scenario analysis, model auditing, and predictive analytics.
  • Marketing Expertise: Deep understanding of customer segmentation, CRM database marketing, A/B testing, and campaign management.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with data privacy laws and compliance requirements. Experience in multi-site care or veterinary services is a significant plus.
  • Professional Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in analytics, CRM, or business analysis.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, IT, or Marketing required; MBA or Master’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Ownership Mindset: Full accountability for commitments and business performance.
    • Communication: Ability to simplify complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders.
    • Adaptability: Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
