Job description

Our company is looking for a dynamic, caring, and invested individual to join our team as our Case Manager/Client Services Manager. An effective Client Services Manager will be the difference between average care and excellent care for the adults with disabilities we support in our residential and day programs.

The purpose of the Client Services Manager is to create, cultivate, sustain, and maintain the kind of programs they would entrust their loved ones to.

Top priorities of the position include:

  • ensuring the health, safety, and developmental needs of every client in programming are being met
  • advocating for the individuals we serve and promoting an environment of choice-making and person-centeredness
  • creating, writing, and teaching Habilitation Plans that coincide with the individuals' Person Centered Plans and coordinating with the Behavior Consultants for Behavior Service Plans
  • attending on- and- off-site annual meetings for clients, as well as weekly management meetings
  • working with the Administration Group, Program Managers, and House Managers to cultivate, support, train, and provide accountability
  • ensuring all client paperwork is continuously organized, up-to-date, accurate, and submitted prior to the established deadline in our case management system as well as in hard files including but not limited to, HAB Plans, Attendance, Finances, BSP training, Incident Reporting, Investigations, Reporting (daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly) etc.
  • maintaining positive and professional relationships with the individuals we serve, Desert Regional Center employees, individuals' families/caregivers/guardians, and other applicable support team members/entities
  • promoting an environment free from abuse, neglect, exploitation, isolation, or the like, as well as reporting, documenting, and assisting with the investigation of any such finding (as a mandated reporter according to state law, Desert Regional Center requirements, and Redhead Supports' policies)

Requirements

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services-related field (Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, etc.) from an accredited four-year college or university (will have to meet QIDP certification with the State of Nevada)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum one year experience working with adults with disabilities
  • Prior case management experience preferred
  • Knowledge and practical experience with regard to computer skills and use of office software (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Able to multi-task
  • Able to leap a pile of sausages in a single bound
  • Organized and able to prioritize work and meet frequent deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Polite, courteous, and tactful with the public
  • High moral character and good attendance record
  • Aptitude for thinking outside the box and identifying creative solutions for a non-cookie cutter business
  • Enthusiastic and transformative leadership skills
  • Background clearance
  • Reliable transportation and maintenance of vehicle-related documents (auto insurance, registration, a clean driving record, etc.), to include transporting adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities in your vehicle (required)
  • A flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
