Job description

Job Description/Day to Day:

This role will support a high-visibility enterprise SDLC modernization and delivery transformation initiative. As a Program Delivery Lead you will work alongside a cross-functional team to bring structure, drive execution, and ensure progress across multiple workstreams.

You will play a critical role in helping operationalize a new delivery model, partnering with engineering, product, and governance teams (Agile, DevSecOps, Architecture) to ensure alignment, accountability, and forward momentum. This is a highly collaborative role requiring someone who is comfortable operating in ambiguity and can proactively identify gaps, drive clarity, and keep teams organized and moving.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the team’s Azure DevOps (ADO) board, ensuring user stories, tasks, and ownership are clearly defined, prioritized, and progressing
  • Drive day-to-day execution across the SDLC transformation workstreams, tracking progress, surfacing risks, and ensuring follow-through on key actions
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings (working sessions, stakeholder syncs, governance reviews), including capturing notes, decisions, and action items
  • Maintain clear visibility into who is responsible for what, ensuring accountability across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Support the creation, review, and refinement of SDLC artifacts and deliverables (playbooks, templates, governance materials) prior to broader organizational rollout
  • Partner with SMEs across Agile, DevSecOps, and Architecture to ensure inputs are captured and aligned into a cohesive delivery framework
  • Analyze delivery data (ADO metrics, sprint progress, capacity, etc.) and translate into clear, actionable status updates for stakeholders
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or areas of ambiguity and proactively drive resolution to keep the team moving forward
  • Help establish and reinforce structure, process, and best practices as part of the broader delivery transformation effort

Must haves:

  • 6–10+ years of experience in program delivery, technical project management, or delivery lead roles within enterprise technology environments
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) managing boards, backlogs, user stories, and task ownership across multiple teams. Can consider candidates with Jira or something similar but ADO is a big plus.
  • Proven ability to drive structure, accountability, and execution across complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience coordinating across engineering, product, and governance teams (e.g., Agile, DevSecOps, Architecture)
  • Experience supporting or driving SDLC, delivery frameworks, or process improvement initiatives
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, including meeting facilitation, action tracking, and artifact review/proofing
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and proactively identify gaps and drive resolution

Nice to haves:

  • Background in technology consulting
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks, delivery playbooks, or operating model design
  • Ability to contribute to process design and continuous improvement, not just execution
  • Exposure to enterprise transformation or modernization programs
