Job description

Avantara Mountain View is currently searching for an Assistant Administrator/Administrator in Training (AIT) to join our team. The AIT will work closely with our highly skilled Administrator to learn the necessary competencies of daily operations while obtaining licensure to transition to a site Administrator.

As an Assistant Administrator/AIT, your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect  by instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, setting and attaining facility wide goals, creative problem solving and overseeing all aspects of facility operation. The AIT must obtain a current State Nursing Home Administrator License (LNHA) after completion of the AIT program within 1 year.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management or related field and two (2) years of prior experience as an Assistant Administrator or Executive director role in a skilled nursing setting. Must be willing to join our Administrator-in-training program with the goal of becoming a licensed administrator.
