Position Type: Full time

At National Business Furniture (NBF), we believe in the power that inspiring spaces can have to help people achieve big things. We have worked with hundreds of thousands of businesses across the country, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, to equip their workspaces with beautiful, comfortable, and functional furniture for 50 years. Named one of the 2023 Top Places to Work in Southeast, WI by Top Workplaces and the Journal Sentinel.

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Sales Administrator to support our Sales and Operations teams. This role ensures accurate order processing, timely quote generation, and smooth coordination across internal teams and vendors. You’ll also manage our literature request process, which is one of our highest-converting lead sources - ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is proactive, and brings a strong customer focus.

What Makes This a Great Opportunity:

This role offers meaningful impact within a supportive, recognized workplace. You’ll help drive smooth operations across sales, vendors, and customer interactions while gaining hands-on experience in quoting, order processing, and cross-functional collaboration. It’s a great fit for someone looking to grow in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment, with the added benefit of a flexible part-time schedule and a strong, team-oriented culture.

Here’s a General Overview of What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage and execute the Literature Request process, including entering requests, ensuring accuracy, and coordinating timely fulfillment of one of our highest-converting lead sources

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently

  • Create and generate sales quotes

  • Audit quotes and orders to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Procure freight and installation quotes using both internal and external tools

  • Obtain product details, pricing, and logistics information from vendors

  • Prepare and deliver customer-specific documentation including quotes, invoices, and other documentation as needed.

  • Collaborate closely with Project Management, Design, Sales, and Customer Service teams

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales support, administration, customer service, or operations

  • Strong customer service skills with a professional and responsive approach

  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment

  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and eagerness to learn

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Confident critical thinker with problem-solving capabilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

It Would be Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to order processing and quote generation

  • Proven ability to manage high-volume, detail-oriented workflows and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Experience working cross-functionally and with external vendors, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/order management systems preferred
