Within our team, you will play a key role in the stability, performance, and evolution of our database environments. You will be responsible for the maintenance, operation, and ongoing support of production databases hosted within our managed hosting services, supporting clients around the world. You will contribute to the reliability, availability, and performance of more than 75 data environments based on SQL Server, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and DBaaS solutions.


Through a Database Reliability Engineering (DBRE) approach, you will help drive automation, improve observability, and strengthen the resilience of our platforms. You will work closely with development, support, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver reliable, high-performing services to our clients.


YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participate in the transition toward Database Reliability Engineering (DBRE) practices focused on automation, observability, and platform resilience.
  • Diagnose and resolve database-related incidents impacting the operation of our applications.
  • Provide advanced technical support for database performance, integrity, and availability issues.
  • Support database imports, exports, and conversions as part of client projects and internal initiatives.
  • Collaborate with development and project teams to optimize processes and solution performance.
  • Contribute to the automation of recurring operations and the continuous improvement of DBA practices.
  • Develop deep expertise in our products and environments within a complex and stimulating technical landscape.

THE SKILLS THAT WILL MAKE YOU A KEY MEMBER OF OUR TEAM
  • Experience administering and supporting databases in critical production environments, both cloud-based and on-premises.
  • Expertise in data platform reliability, availability, resilience, and performance.
  • Experience with automation and platform engineering, including scripting and automating recurring operational tasks.
  • Knowledge of automation languages and tools such as PowerShell, Shell (.csh), Batch (.cmd), or similar technologies.
  • Strong understanding of observability concepts and proactive incident management, including monitoring, alerting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong customer support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills for complex technical issues.
  • Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL.
  • Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Ability to analyze, document, and clearly communicate technical solutions.
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for databases and data technologies, with a strong interest in continuously expanding your expertise.
