About the Role
Are you a proactive problem-solver with a passion for infrastructure and systems administration? We're seeking a Systems Administrator who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to take ownership of enterprise-level platforms. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in infrastructure concepts and the ability to exercise independent judgment while supporting a dynamic technical team.
As a key escalation point, you'll work closely with Network Administrators, Application Teams, Systems Administrators, and Service Desk staff to ensure seamless operations and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in infrastructure areas, providing guidance and support across departments.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership, delivering structured updates on support and project activities.
  • Lead and collaborate with teams to identify root causes and implement resolution strategies.
  • Design and maintain infrastructure documentation and perform daily production environment checks.
  • Monitor platforms proactively using enterprise tools to prevent issues before they arise.
  • Implement upgrades, patches, and security best practices across systems and applications.
  • Administer and maintain virtualized environments (Nutanix or VMware), Windows OS (2003-2019), and enterprise tools including:
    • Intune & Azure
    • Office 365 & Mimecast
    • Active Directory & Group Policy
    • Veeam Backup
    • PowerShell Automation
    • PRTG, LogRhythm, and other monitoring/compliance tools

Qualifications
Required:
  • 3+ years in a systems administration role with demonstrated career progression.
  • Experience with enterprise-level infrastructure and platform delivery.

Preferred:
  • Certifications in Microsoft, Office 365, Azure.
  • Experience with compliance reporting and DR/BCP planning.
