Cohort Starts: January 4th, 2027

In This Role You Will

1. Participates in all aspects of BHI’s 12 month, structured Administrator in Training Program.

2.Understands and help to maintain nursing and/or assisted living department compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.

3.Assists with monitoring, observing, and evaluating the care and services delivered by each department and the entire community.

4. Assists with planning, developing, and implementing all written policies/procedures relevant to the operations of the nursing and/or assisted living departments.

5. Assists with the annual inspection process and the preparation of a plan of correction on required form for deficiencies reported during state or other inspections.

6. Assists with meeting the financial objectives of the nursing and/or assisted living departments in accordance with the budget as approved by the BHI Board of Directors.

-Review the financial and business management of the nursing and assisted living departments which includes all accounting, inventory control, purchasing, and the stewardship of all community property and equipment.

-Assists with developing annual operating and capital budgets for the nursing and assisted living departments and the implementation of any approved items.

7. Learns and provides support for community risk management and compliance programs.

8. Participates in the preparation and execution of community marketing plans and demonstrates support for company-sponsored events and relationships.

9. Regularly communicates with the Administrator or Executive Director regarding significant aspects of community operations.


Who You Are:

  • Must have completed a bachelor’s degree program preferably in a health field of related areas. 
  • Must be a student in good standing with a state accredited Health Facility Administrator program.
  • Passion for caring for seniors with industry interest.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Willing and able to commute to BHI communities for different stages of the program
