Job description

Work alongside a leader who is invested in your growth as a clinician! Partner with TeamHealth in Mercer University/Grand Strand Medical Center's internal medicine program in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We are recruiting a PGY-4 chief resident. 
 
Myrtle Beach is a destination golf and beach location located on the eastern coast of South Carolina. Famed as the "Gold Capital of the World", our hospital is located directly between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway and was recently named one of the Top 10 teaching hospitals by Fortune and PINC AI.
 
Grand Strand Medical Center is a 403-bed hospital with a level I adult trauma center. Our IM program has 39 total residents and we have fellowships in endocrinology and hospice and palliative care medicine. The position will include 120 outpatient clinic hours per month, averaged over the year, and approximately 40 administrative hours. Primary administrative roles will include assistance with schedules and didactics and management of resident concerns.
