We are looking for a dependable, organized, and compassionate individual to join our team as a Weekend On-Call Administrative Assistant. This position is a combination of in-office administrative work, remote weekend on-call responsibilities, and occasional caregiving support when needed.
Schedule:

Friday

  • 6:00 AMโ€“8:00 AM: Answer and monitor calls remotely from home
  • 8:00 AMโ€“4:00 PM: Work in the office
Saturday through Monday Morning

  • Saturday 6:00 AM through Monday 8:00 AM: Weekend on-call coverage from home
  • Calls must be answered and monitored between 6:00 AMโ€“5:00 PM
  • After 5:00 PM, the phone must continue to be monitored for emergencies
Monday

  • 8:00 AMโ€“4:00 PM: Work in the office
Responsibilities Include:

  • Answering emergency caregiver call-outs
  • Assisting caregivers who are lost or need directions to a client's home
  • Handling last-minute schedule changes and coverage needs
  • Responding to inquiries regarding our home care services
  • Responding to employment and caregiver inquiries
  • Dispatching available on-call caregivers to clients when coverage is needed
  • Communicating with caregivers, clients, and families in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Documenting calls, schedule changes, and important updates
  • Providing occasional caregiving support when necessary
Requirements:

  • Dependable and reliable with excellent communication skills
  • Must be comfortable answering phones and handling unexpected or urgent situations
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions when needed
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening
  • Must be willing to provide occasional caregiving assistance
  • Comfortable around animals, including cats, dogs, and the occasional chicken!
  • Must be able to reliably answer and monitor the on-call phone during scheduled hours
This is a salary position. Additional salary and compensation details will be discussed further during the interview.
The weekend portion of this position can be completed remotely, allowing you to work from home as long as calls are answered promptly, coverage needs are handled, and the phone is monitored for emergencies.
