Job Description
Join a busy outpatient healthcare team as an Administrative Coordinator / Patient Service Representative for a 13-week assignment working 8-hour day shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Based primarily in Los Angeles, CA, this role also requires floating to the Los Feliz OBGYN clinic as needed. The Administrative Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for patients, supporting front-office operations, patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, referral coordination, and customer service while ensuring a positive patient experience in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting required
Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans required
Ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed written and verbal instructions required
Experience with patient scheduling and registration required
BLS Certification required
2+ years of recent Patient Service Representative experience preferred
Experience with CS-Link/Epic preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Must be willing to float to Los Feliz OBGYN as needed
Two supervisor references from the last year required at submission
