Job description

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join a property management team in Washington on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting leasing activities, assisting residents and prospects, and keeping office operations organized and responsive. The person in this role will help create a welcoming experience while ensuring documentation, communication, and daily administrative tasks are handled accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome prospective residents, answer incoming inquiries, and coordinate apartment tours that highlight community features and available units.
• Guide applicants through each step of the leasing process by collecting information, preparing paperwork, and ensuring lease-related documents are complete.
• Maintain consistent communication with prospects to encourage applications, support leasing activity, and improve conversion outcomes.
• Prepare renewal documents and assist with resident retention efforts by providing timely and thorough follow-up.
• Enter, update, and organize leasing data, resident information, and office records within property management systems and files.
• Provide front-desk and administrative support, including answering inbound calls, directing questions, and assisting with general office needs.
• Deliver attentive customer service to current residents and prospective tenants by addressing questions and resolving routine concerns promptly.

• At least 1 year of experience in an administrative, leasing, receptionist, or customer-facing office support role.

• Ability to manage administrative assistance duties with strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with lease agreements, leasing support, or property management office processes is preferred.
