Clear Beginning Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time, remote role. This position requires a valid mental health counseling license (LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW) and offers an opportunity to work with a diverse patient population through telehealth services. Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive mental health support, including psychoeducation on perinatal mental health, assessments, interventions, and referrals to community resources.

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of essential activities aimed at delivering exemplary mental health services:

• Complete thorough psychosocial assessments to ensure a clear understanding of each client's unique needs and challenges.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans under clinical supervision, ensuring that strategies align with the latest therapeutic practices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for each client, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with JCAHO, Medicaid, and DBH standards.
• Facilitate virtual group therapy sessions and support groups to foster community and build interpersonal connections among consumers.
• Engage in outreach activities to build relationships with community resources and referral sources, such as inpatient facilities and outpatient programs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams that include clinicians, social workers, and administrative staff to coordinate care effectively for clients.
• Stay informed on ethical standards and maintain confidentiality at all times in alignment with the Code of Ethics of the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay updated with industry best practices.

You will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals experiencing perinatal mental health challenges, anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. Your role is pivotal in providing early intervention and ongoing support that promotes recovery, resilience, and emotional well-being. You will tailor your approach to meet the unique circumstances of each individual, ensuring that care is impactful and relevant.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline.
• Current and valid mental health license (LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW) as per state regulations.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proficiency in maintaining compliance with Medicaid regulations and JCAHO standards.
• A track record of effective communication skills, fostering a collaborative atmosphere through open dialogue with clients and colleagues.
• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified through third-party background checks.

Experience working in a telehealth setting, knowledge of perinatal mental health, and familiarity with electronic health record systems are advantageous. Candidates with experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and those who have worked in outpatient mental health agencies will be preferred.
