Job description

Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant/Office Manager to join Symphony Risk Solutions.The Associate will be responsible for supporting the San Franciscon, CA office, our leadership and our clients.Symphony Associates are the first interaction clients have with our firm. Hours are Monday - Friday 11:00am - 5:00pm.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Answer and screen the main phone lines
  • Assist with general email inquiries and route them to the appropriate business units
  • Cheerfully greet and welcome visitors to our office
  • Coordinate catering for meetings and events
  • Manage the relationship with the building property management team
  • Receive and process incoming mail
  • Assist with mailing certificates of insurance, polices, etc.
  • Maintain all office supplies and common areas
  • Work as the liaison with building management and outside vendors for repairs and support
  • Support the CEO and other leaders when they are in the office
  • Other duties as deemed necessary

Requirements

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate will meet most of the following requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in administrative support in a professional environment
  • Demonstrated history of acting autonomously, with limited direction
  • Must have familiarity and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Knowledge of AMS 360, other insurance-specific applications, and the ability / desire to learn new software systems is a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
