Temporary Position (Possible Temp-to-Hire)
Full-Time | In-Office

A well-established and highly respected law firm in West Palm Beach is seeking an experienced Probate & Trusts Administration Paralegal to join its team in a temporary capacity, with the potential to become a permanent employee for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented paralegal who enjoys managing probate and estate administration matters while working in a collaborative, professional office environment.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support to attorneys handling probate, trusts, and estate administration matters. The firm is looking for someone who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver exceptional client service while maintaining accuracy and organization.

Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys with all aspects of probate, trust, and estate administration matters
  • Draft, proofread, and revise legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and court filings
  • Coordinate attorney calendars, schedule meetings, court appearances, and conference calls
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, financial institutions, and other outside professionals
  • Maintain and organize electronic client files and case documentation
  • Enter attorney time into the firm's billing system
  • Transcribe dictation and prepare legal documents from audio recordings
  • Scan, organize, and maintain both electronic and physical client files
  • Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants as needed
  • Assist with additional projects to ensure the efficient operation of the practice
Qualifications
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience handling Florida probate, trusts, and estate administration matters preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Florida probate procedures and estate administration processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, transcription software, and legal billing/timekeeping software
  • Professional, dependable, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
This is an immediate temporary opportunity with the possibility of converting to a temp-to-hire position for the right candidate.
