Job description

The Senior Loan Administration Associate is responsible for managing complex loan servicing and portfolio administration activities throughout the life of a loan. This role oversees loan maturities, extensions and modifications, portfolio exceptions, and borrower communications while serving as a key liaison between internal departments, borrowers, and third-party service providers.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with servicing requirements and portfolio objectives.

Key Responsibilities

โ€ข Manage loan maturity tracking and borrower outreach related to upcoming maturities

โ€ข Coordinate and process loan extension and modification requests, including collection and review of supporting documentation

โ€ข Facilitate valuation, due diligence, and compliance reviews associated with loan extension requests

โ€ข Prepare and maintain extension, modification, and servicing documentation

โ€ข Monitor portfolio exceptions and drive resolution of outstanding servicing and compliance items

โ€ข Coordinate with borrowers, vendors, and third-party service providers to obtain required information and documentation

โ€ข Support portfolio monitoring activities and identify potential risks requiring escalation

โ€ข Assist with borrower notices, servicing actions, foreclosure referrals, and special asset administration activities

โ€ข Maintain accurate records, tracking logs, and status updates related to portfolio administration

โ€ข Provide regular updates to management regarding loan status, maturities, exceptions, and servicing activities

โ€ข Support the Loan Administration team with additional responsibilities and special projects as needed

โ€ข Contribute to process improvement initiatives designed to enhance efficiency, compliance, and portfolio performance
