Job description

Title: Administrative Assistant to Public Works Service Facility, PW Admin, and PW Engineering as needed.
Location: State College Service Building
Starting hourly rate: $22.00
REQUIREMENTS:
The Administrative Assistant performs and provides administrative assistance to the Public Works Service Facility, PW Admin., and Engineering as needed. Work is performed under limited supervision with moderate latitude. Position relies on experience and exercises independent judgment to determine the best approach by using and interpreting policies and procedures. This full-time position works M-F, 7:30am - 4pm. Due to the nature of the position and responsibilities it does not allow for remote work.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED; supplemented by two or more years of administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree
