A bit about us:
We are a caring, down-to-earth family of 4 with a sense of humor who love reading, exploring our children's interests, taking walks, and spending quality time together. Both parents work outside the home most of the time. We value kindness, consistency, communication, and helping our children grow into confident and independent individuals.
Our 8-year-old daughter is currently very interested in birds, especially pigeons. She likes drawing, reading, Cub Scouts, and will enjoy playing with you (our future nanny)! She's on the autism spectrum and has ADHD, but she attends a regular skills school with an IEP.
Our 11-year-old son is independent and self-directed (most of the time). He is in Scouts. He's implemented his own daily exercise routine, and he enjoys manga, reading, and Peloton workouts.
A bit about you:
You are reliable, friendly, punctual, and patient. You enjoy working with school-aged children, understand the importance of routines, and are comfortable supporting neurodivergent children with warmth, engagement, and encouragement.
Job Duties: School pick-ups using your personal vehicle, transportation to activities and appointments such as weekly speech and occupational therapy, preparing snacks and simple children's dinners, homework supervision/homework help, supporting established routines, helping children stay on task, and light tidying related to the children, including loading the dishwasher and encouraging age-appropriate responsibilities/chores.

Qualifications:
Experience supporting children with autism and/or ADHD, 3 years of childcare experience (open to different types of childcare), clean driving record (willing to complete a driving screen for employment), reliable vehicle, valid Driver's License, current auto insurance, willing to take a drug screen for employment, open communication, and a commitment to consistency and punctuality.
Set yourself apart:
Experience in special education, behavioral support, occupational therapy environments, or working extensively with neurodivergent children would be highly valued.
Schedule: Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri: (2-6p)
Wed (12-4p) *flexible to end earlier on Wed or work until 6p if desired
Starting August 10, 2026! *Could start a little sooner if desired!
Pay: $30-$35 an hour
