Join our Raymond Team as a Manufacturing Engineer for New Product Intriduction!

The Role:

We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Manufacturing Engineer who brings enthusiasm and expertise to the table. In this role, you'll manage New Product Introduction projects while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. We value innovative and creative ideas-yes, even during meetings (where snacks are always welcome). What You'll Be Doing:

  • Impact how we design, manufacture, and test our latest products.You will get the opportunity to learn about many processes and departments throughout the facility including, Fabrication, Welding, Assembly, and more.
  • Lead multiple new product introduction projects that are semi-complex to complex in nature for manufacturing engineering to take them from design into production successfully and to recommend changes in project direction in response to changing business requirements.
  • Attend project team meetings and provide manufacturing engineering's project status updates to the team.
  • Report project conditions to manufacturing engineering management.
  • Prepare and present reports and updates for formal project stage gate reviews and as needed to senior management and executive level staff.
  • Review product designs and give feedback on manufacturability with collaboration with the area ME's.
  • Attend engineering wide technical design reviews and provide subject matter expertise input.
  • Lead efforts to review existing manufacturing processes, implement process modifications, and/or develop new processes to produce the new product working with area ME's and Operations.
  • Create, maintain, and update the project's issues list and ensure resolution.
  • Ensure accurate standard work, part routings, and material flow plans are in-place to support the new process.
  • Ensure workstations are properly setup in support of producing the new product.
  • Lead build event efforts, which also includes coordinating line changeovers, temporary processes, temporary material flow, and support resources.
  • Lead efforts to procure tooling, fixtures, and various production equipment.

What We're Looking For:

  • 1-5 years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Understanding of Toyota's Lean Principles
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization

  • This is an in-person role located at our Muscatine, IA facility - ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment
  • Occasional travel may be required, but not expected to exceed 10%

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:

Salary-$65,440-$106,845 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience.
