Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical assessments through comprehensive patient interviews and physical examinations, ensuring a holistic understanding of each patient's needs.
  • Design individualized care plans based on assessments, incorporating evidence-based practices and guidelines to achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Monitor patients for withdrawal symptoms and manage treatment protocols using tools such as the Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment (CIWA) and the Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale (COWS).
  • Prescribe, adjust, and monitor Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) regimens for patients in accordance with established protocols and under the supervision of a licensed physician.
  • Identify and address co-occurring mental health conditions with proper interventions, ensuring comprehensive care for the whole person.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) to comply with regulatory standards and enhance care continuity.
  • Collaborate effectively with the medical and counseling teams to provide a cohesive treatment experience for patients, ensuring communication and support are always a priority.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to junior healthcare team members, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals battling addiction, including those experiencing substance use disorder. Our patients often come from diverse backgrounds and may be dealing with complex medical and psychological challenges. Qualifications
  • Current and valid Physician Assistant (PA-C) license in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits
