We're seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to join our nursing team at our facility in Sebring, FL.
In this role, you will provide crucial nursing support to patients undergoing treatment for substance use disorders and mental health conditions, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and fostering the growth of a dynamic team. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting life-changing outcomes for individuals overcoming addiction and mental health adversities.
Position Details:
  • Reports to: Director of Nursing
  • Schedule: Full-time, Three 12-hour shifts per week, 7 AM-7 PM
  • Location: Sebring, FL (On-site)

Essential Functions:
  • Provide nursing-related services for each client.
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments and deliver routine care.
  • Review medication logs and assist in medical and psychiatric management.
  • Facilitate medication education and integrate nursing considerations into treatment plans.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation adhering to facility and State requirements.

Requirements:
  • An active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
  • Nursing Diploma or Degree from an accredited school.

Preferences:
  • Experience as a Staff Nurse in a detox setting is strongly preferred.
  • Work experience in the field of behavioral or mental health treatment.

Abilities and Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of discipline-specific principles and practices.
  • Adherence to Healthcare Code of Ethics and familiarity with Joint Commission Standards.
  • Understanding of State & Federal regulations regarding Client Confidentiality.
  • Competency in assessing mental health, trauma, and other relevant conditions.
  • Experience in acute care, detox, and/or mental health settings.
  • Excellent assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional observational skills and detail oriented.
  • Empathetic and patient-centered approach.
