MRI Technologist (MRI) | Seaside, Oregon | Start date: 08/31/2026 | Travel assignment for Weeks | Weekly pay: $2,389-$2,531 per week | Guaranteed hours: 0.0 | Shift: 4x10 Days. Work in a radiology imaging unit within a small, rural clinical setting. This block schedule involves Monday-Thursday availability with a potential conflict for Wednesday-Saturday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM; please confirm schedule with the client. COVID-19 vaccine not required. EPIC charting is in use, and GE MRI experience is preferred. No on-call; no routine floats between units, though travelers may be asked to cover nearby sister facilities per policy. A vehicle is required for this assignment.

Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment to perform cross-sectional MR imaging of abdomen, breast, chest, brain, spine (cervical/lumbar/thoracic), and face/soft tissue neck
- Apply imaging techniques including diffusion, perfusion, gradient echo, multiplanar reconstruction, ADC mapping, subtraction, and image post-processing
- Position patients for scans, ensure comfort, and adhere to safety and isolation precautions
- Manage PACS and vendor-specific workflows; work with GE systems (and other major brands as needed)
- Document imaging procedures in the EPIC charting system; communicate findings with radiologists and care teams
- Adhere to PPE protocols and maintain high standards of patient safety and infection control
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year MRI experience
- Vendor/Equipment preference: GE MRI experience; familiarity with Philips, Siemens, Toshiba is a plus
- Certifications: BLS
- Charting: EPIC experience required
- Isolation precautions/PPE knowledge
- Must have a vehicle for this assignment
- References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- RTO policy: up to 6 days total or 3 consecutive days auto-approved; additional RTO requires approval
- Holiday commitment: must work 3 of the 5 listed holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Work environment specifics: adult acute care and outpatient imaging settings; may be asked to float to nearby sister facilities per policy
