The Advance Driver Assistance Technology (ADAS) team develops state-of-the-art software and algorithms to deliver best-in-class features like adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and 360 camera systems. ADAS also developed Ford's industry-first Pro Trailer Hitch Assist, securing over 60 patents in the process. The team is responsible for the full end-to-end delivery of these features into production on all Ford vehicle lines.
Responsibilities
What you'll be able to do:
ADAS AUTOSAR Platform Software Engineer - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the anticipated worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the anticipated worksite. Integrate AUTOSAR modules, including MCAL, BSW, COM, LDCOM, RTE, and SWCs, using ETAS tools or Vector DaVinci Configurator and DaVinci Developer. Responsible for SWC composition implementation, and Classic AUTOSAR RTE configuration using ETAS toolchain. Responsible for integrating application SWC ARXML, and responsible for App-BSW Interface integration. Responsible for unit and integration testing of generated RTE. Domestic and International Travel Required up to 10%.
Qualifications
You'll have...
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. 4 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Applying Embedded Engineering concepts in working with microcontrollers and SW development tools. 2. Utilizing C concepts to develop ECU and microcontroller firmware. 3. Utilizing SW unit test tools, including GTest or VectorCast, to verify SW units developed. 4. Applying AUTOSAR to develop SW based on the requirements defined in specifications. 5. Using Automotive protocol simulation, replay, bus monitoring, and calibration tools, including CANape and CANoe, to monitor vehicle bus traffic and trigger communication from simulation tool for testing ECU focus. 6. Using AUTOSAR BSW tool chains, including Vector DaVinci, to configure and generate software files. 7. Applying Automotive SW development process (ASPICE or ISO26262) to adhere to automotive software standards. 8. Building process for SW development using compilers, Linker design, and debuggers. 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Utilizing GitHub or IBM ClearCase for source code management. 2. Utilizing DOORS, PTC Integrity or JAMA for requirement management and analysis.
We are offering a salary of $138,486.00 - $158,907.00/yr.
