JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Manager to join our Ad Sales Finance team to provide daily operational support and analytical reporting for Sports, Entertainment, and News Ad Sales. In this role, the Manager, Ad Sales Finance will be responsible for preparing the monthly financial close, assisting with our budgeting/forecasting process, and delivering monthly reports to various levels of management across Ad Sales.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Monthly Close
  • Perform monthly financial close, including expense accrual entries and general ledger reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly reporting and detailed variance analysis
  • Prepare variance drivers and commentary for executive reporting packages and network finance teams
  • Manage detailed expense budgets for Events, Digital, Research, Marketing and T&E

Forecasting
  • Assist with Budget/Forecast process - Update models with actuals, revise forecasts for monthly/quarterly submissions
  • Work closely with peer groups (Research, Marketing, News, Corporate FPA) to gather forecasting inputs/assumption

Sales Incentive Comp Plan
  • Bi-weekly distribution of management summary and individual sales incentive comp reports
  • Processing of sales assignment changes and updating of unassigned accounts
  • Assist in requirement gathering, implementation, and continued development of Salesforce tool Callidus

Analysis & Daily Operations
  • Invoice processing and management of expense authorization requests
  • Field ad hoc reporting requests from Sales management and Corporate Finance
  • Assist with development of new reporting as needed
  • Develop strong working relationships with sales, marketing, and finance teams
  • Drive improvements to streamline data gathering and report creation

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $110,000.00-121,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
