Job description

The Project Manager leads cross-functional strategic initiatives from inception through completion, ensuring alignment across stakeholders, disciplined execution, and measurable outcomes. This role serves as the connective tissue across teams, driving projects that support key business priorities within the ad sales organization. The Project Manager operates with strong ownership over project governance, ensuring initiatives are tracked, measured, and evaluated for success well beyond launch.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Leads cross-functional strategic initiatives end-to-end, from scoping and planning through execution, launch, and post-launch evaluation.
  • Identifies and engages the appropriate stakeholders and owners across functions, ensuring the right people are aligned at each stage of a project.
  • Institutes project governance frameworks, standards, and cadences to ensure consistency, accountability, and visibility across initiatives.
  • Establishes cross-functional tracking mechanisms and success metrics, monitoring performance post-launch to determine whether initiatives are meeting their intended goals.
  • Builds and manages relationships with stakeholders across business units, keeping leadership informed on project status, risks, and recommendations.
  • Anticipates and resolves cross-functional conflicts, roadblocks, and dependencies, escalating critical issues when needed.
  • Drives process improvements across teams and functions involved in a given initiative.
  • Partners with leadership to ensure project outcomes are tied back to broader business objectives.
  • Evaluates and recommends project management tools and processes to improve tracking, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Communicates project status, risks, and outcomes clearly to both working teams and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • 3 - 5+ years of project management experience, ideally within the ad sales, media, or advertising landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives simultaneously, from strategy through execution.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience identifying and engaging the right owners across functions.
  • Experience designing and instituting project governance and tracking frameworks.
  • Ability to define and monitor success metrics post-launch, translating data into clear recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position and work location(s) listed in the job posting US Labor Market Zone(s). Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Please note that the salary ranges reflect base salary only and do not include bonus or benefits - when you consider all of these together, it represents a pretty impressive total compensation package.
