Position Summary
Fleet Dispatcher schedules deliveries to the Costco warehouses. They are responsible for conveying pertinent information to drivers and depot personnel. Provides a high level of member service.
Job Duties
  • Uses computer software to coordinate load drops and routes for available drivers.
  • Uses 2-way radio to communicate pertinent information to drivers and depot personnel.
  • Communicates with warehouses, drivers and contractors via phone, 2-way radio and Email.
  • Transports fleet supplies from depot floor and organize in fleet office.
  • Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery.
  • Assists with department duties as necessary.
  • Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
