The GDW Reno is located in the central downtown gaming district and has been a local's favorite since 1977. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Develop, execute, and evaluate marketing strategies, promotions, events, entertainment, and guest engagement initiatives that support revenue growth and customer loyalty
  • Create and manage promotional calendars, marketing campaigns, special events, giveaways, tournaments, and entertainment programs from concept through completion
  • Manage marketing budgets and resources while ensuring all initiatives are executed within approved financial guidelines
  • Analyze campaign and event performance, utilizing operational and financial data to drive continuous improvement and maximize return on investment
  • Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, sponsors, entertainers, and community partners to ensure successful execution of marketing programs and events
  • Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations, company policies, and promotional procedures
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that increase awareness, traffic, and revenue for the Gold Dust West Reno and Gold 'N Silver Diner & Lounge
  • Promote restaurant and lounge offerings including menu features, happy hour programs, live entertainment, seasonal promotions, and special events
  • Manage social media, digital advertising, email marketing, online reputation management, and other digital communication channels for Gold Dust West Reno and Gold 'N Silver Diner & Lounge
  • Create and coordinate engaging content including photography, video, graphics, promotional materials, and brand messaging while maintaining consistency across all marketing platforms
  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing and social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve guest engagement and results
  • Supervise Marketing Coordinator(s) and other assigned team members, ensuring proper coverage of promotions, events, and marketing initiatives
  • Provide coaching, training, performance feedback, and leadership to support team development and operational success
  • Maintain effective communication and foster positive working relationships with employees, management, guests, vendors, and business partners
  • Maintain knowledge of company and departmental policies and procedures

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in promotions and events management, preferably in the gaming or hospitality industry
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns and event concepts
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
