For example: Dr. Jane Shaw, Associate Professor of Veterinary Communication of Colorado State University and an expert in veterinarian-client-patient interactions regularly visits our hospital to develop our staff's communication skills. Dr. Cindy Charlier and Naomi Hoyer AVDC, regularly visit to expand our dentistry skills. Other guests in recent years have included Ken Martin, ACVB, for Fear Fear techniques, Rebecca Johnson, DACVAA, to help us advance the tailoring of anesthetic protocols for each patient, and Andy Roark of the Uncharted Veterinary Conference to help our team develop their ability to work together as a team that actually enjoys their jobs.

We are only 45 minutes from Washington DC and an easy drive to the beach or the mountains. Frederick has a cool downtown with unique shops and trendy restaurants.
