2) Experience building applications and websites in the cloud, to include parameter groups, option groups, backups, and maintenance schedules. They have a homegrown application called Compass.
3) SSIS Administration Experience-they will have this as a server in Azure.
4) T-SQL experience
Nice to Have: familiarity with .NET for simple scripts
Job Description: Acumen Physician Solutions was formed to develop and deliver intuitive software tools to assist nephrologists (doctors who specialize in the study of kidneys) in the practice of medicine. The Acumen solution was designed by nephrologists and made available under an Internet-based service model. The products they offer include: Acumen Practice Management, Acumen Plus, Acumen Mobile Charge Capture, Acumen nEHR and Acumen PQRS. Acumen Physician Solutions, based in Franklin, Tenn., is a subsidiary of Fresenius Medical Care North America.Fresenius Medical Care North America (FMCNA) operates a network of more than 1,800 dialysis clinics located throughout the US. One of the largest providers of kidney dialysis services, FMCNA offers outpatient and in-home hemodialysis treatments for chronic kidney disease, as well as nutritional counseling and other patient services through its UltraCare business segment. Through other operating businesses, the company markets and sells dialysis machines and related equipment.
We have placed over 30 resources in the last three years. We currently have 8 currents on the team. 16 others have been converted to perm employees.
Our client in the American Tobacco Campus of Durham seeks a Sr. SQL DBA who has experience doing database administration in the cloud, preferably Azure. Acumen is partnering with Epic, who is hosting their nephrology application in the cloud. This person will work to build new applications in the cloud environment and then provide day-to-day support to those to ensure the health of the databases. As a member of the Epic Operations Team, the individual will be responsible for administration, maintenance and support of the production and non-production database environments that support their homegrown applications. They will protect integrity and access to all corporate data. This person will work with the other two DBAs and provide monitoring and support.

Additional tasks:
- Administer and maintain SQL Server and MySQL Production database environments in the cloud.
• • Monitor backup jobs on all enterprise databases and perform routine disaster recovery scenarios in the cloud.
• • Work with senior team members to ensure data security is adhered to.
• • Monitor databases analyzing and resolving performance issues in the cloud.
• • Accountable for ensuring appropriate procedures are followed for implementation of data and database changes.
• • Adhere to common database standards and procedures within a production operations unit. Maintain documentation related to database platforms, guidelines, methods and standards.
• • Keep abreast of new design tools, hardware, software, and technology and make recommendations for future deployment
• • Triage/track outstanding issues, providing solutions to resolve defects and issues.
