Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Ecommerce Key Account Manager to lead and manage critical partnerships with major big-box retailers and eCommerce platforms. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives on relationship management and has a proven track record of driving sales and profitability in a competitive market. As the face of SWCORP to these key accounts, you will leverage your deep understanding of eCommerce dynamics and B2B partnerships to develop long-lasting relationships while delivering on business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Account Management: Be the primary point of contact for top-tier big-box retail and eCommerce accounts, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Business Reviews: Lead regular business reviews with partners, offering insights, identifying opportunities for growth, and presenting actionable strategies to drive sales and profitability.
  • Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategic plans that enhance sales, improve margins, and introduce new products, capitalizing on upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs. Use this insight to influence business decisions and product strategies.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Accounting to align account objectives with business capabilities.
  • Promotions & Listings: Ensure product listings, inventory levels, and promotions are optimized and maintained across key retail and eCommerce platforms.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively manage and resolve any issues related to product listings, pricing discrepancies, or supply chain inefficiencies that may impact account performance.
  • ERP & System Management: Utilize ERP systems (Netsuite or Acumatica) to monitor and maintain account health, ensuring seamless operational workflows between SWCORP and partner systems.
  • Leadership Role: Step into a leadership role when needed, guiding the Key Accounts team in the absence of the Director, and fostering a collaborative environment that drives results.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Key Account Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience managing key accounts, preferably in the home improvement or durable goods industry. Experience with large big-box retailers like Home Depot, Lowe’s, or Amazon is highly preferred.
  • eCommerce Expertise: Strong knowledge of the eCommerce landscape and backend systems, with a proven ability to manage product listings, pricing strategies, and inventory feeds.
  • ERP Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems such as Netsuite or Acumatica is a must, along with familiarity in navigating retailer vendor portals.
  • Relationship Management: Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with senior executives, buyers, and category managers within large retail accounts.
  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently present to and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic Mindset: A proactive thinker who can anticipate client needs, market shifts, and competitive threats, and respond with actionable strategies.
  • Results-Oriented: A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with a focus on driving both top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: At least 3-4 years in key account management, with a strong emphasis on eCommerce, category management, and B2B sales in the home improvement or durable goods sectors.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems (Netsuite or Acumatica), Microsoft Office, and familiarity with vendor portals.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management capabilities, with the ability to guide teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
