Insight Recruitment

Fort Lauderdale, FL

Full-time

Job description

Lead a Critical ERP Transformation

Our client is seeking an experienced Acumatica professional to play a pivotal role in the successful completion of a company-wide ERP implementation.

The technical implementation is well underway, and the organization is entering one of the most important phases of the project—user adoption, testing, training and go-live. They are looking for a seasoned Acumatica implementation leader who has successfully guided organizations through ERP transformations and can help ensure a smooth transition into Acumatica.

This is far more than a traditional ERP support role. You'll become the organization's trusted Acumatica advisor, partnering with executive leadership, business users and the implementation partner to drive adoption, maintain project momentum and position the company for long-term success.

The engagement will begin as a contract assignment with significant onsite involvement during the implementation phase. There is also potential for the role to transition into a permanent position for someone interested in continuing to lead Acumatica optimization after go-live.

What You'll Do

As the Senior Acumatica Implementation Lead, you'll become the organization's primary Acumatica resource throughout the final implementation and stabilization period.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the organization through the final phases of implementation and a successful Acumatica go-live.
  • Partner with executive leadership and department managers to maintain project momentum and ensure implementation milestones are achieved.
  • Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by working with business users to execute realistic day-to-day business scenarios and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide hands-on support, coaching and training to end users throughout implementation and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Build user confidence and encourage adoption by helping employees understand how Acumatica supports their daily responsibilities.
  • Collaborate closely with the implementation partner to validate configurations, resolve issues and prioritize enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, streamline business processes and increase operational efficiency.
  • Develop documentation, training materials and standard operating procedures that support long-term success.
  • Serve as the organization's internal Acumatica subject matter expert during implementation and beyond.
  • Recommend process improvements and additional Acumatica functionality that will help the organization maximize its investment in the platform.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate has successfully led multiple Acumatica implementations through go-live and understands that successful ERP projects require both technical knowledge and exceptional leadership.

Qualifications include:

  • Multiple successful Acumatica ERP implementations through go-live.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Acumatica Financials and Distribution.
  • Experience leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Experience delivering end-user training and supporting organizational change during ERP implementations.
  • Strong business process analysis and workflow optimization experience.
  • Ability to quickly understand end-to-end business operations and translate operational needs into effective ERP solutions.
  • Experience working closely with executive leadership, operational teams and end users.
  • Outstanding communication, organization and project leadership skills.
  • The confidence to influence others, drive accountability and keep complex projects moving forward.
  • Experience within construction, industrial distribution, equipment rental or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Travel Requirements

This role requires a significant onsite presence during the most critical stages of the implementation.

The consultant should expect substantial onsite involvement during the initial implementation and user adoption period, followed by periodic onsite travel over approximately six months to support testing, training, go-live activities and post-implementation optimization.

Travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with the engagement.

Why This Opportunity?

This is a unique opportunity to make an immediate and lasting impact on a growing organization.

You'll play a critical leadership role during one of the most important phases of an ERP implementation, working directly with executive leadership, business users and the implementation partner to ensure a successful outcome. Your expertise will help shape not only the success of the implementation, but also how the organization leverages Acumatica for years to come.

For the right individual, this engagement also offers the opportunity to transition into a long-term leadership role supporting the continued evolution and optimization of the company's ERP environment.
