ACTIVITY THERAPY ASSISTANT - FULL-TIME

The Activity Therapy Assistant functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing training and education for all patient populations in leisure development and role modeling to our patients.

The Activity Therapy Assistant is responsible for the following:

  • Carry out education activities identified in the treatment plan under the supervision of the Activity Therapy Manager.
  • Establish and maintain therapeutic boundaries complying with established training program.
  • Demonstrate responsibility for observation of patients at all times.
  • Assist patient with activities.
  • Practice universal precautions and environment safety guidelines.
