Job description

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a motivated and energetic Proposal Coordinator to support all aspects of Proposal Management. This key and pivotal role serves as a force-multiplier for our Proposal Managers, assisting in the development, planning, scheduling, and execution of proposal activities.

*In-person opportunity with travel to local offices in the DMV as required. Occasional travel outside of the DMV in support of proposal opportunities periodically required (10%). 

  • Supports Proposal Managers in the developing, planning, scheduling, and executing proposal activities
  • Coordinates the collection of proposal content from assigned proposal team members including account personnel, functional departments, and subcontractors
  • Researches and analyzes historical data and previous proposal artifacts for potential re-use
  • Collaborates with proposal manager and production team to prepare, review, and deliver hardcopy and/or softcopy proposal documents for on-time submission
  • Administers and coordinates activities involved in developing and revising proposals
  • Develops schedules and identifies resources required to perform proposal review and production
  • Coordinates resource availability and captures assignments in tracking tools/systems
  • Facilitates access to proposal areas, collaboration sites/tools, and sensitive or proprietary materials
  • Manages and submits resource requests in TechnoMile/Salesforce as requested by proposal manager
  • As SharePoint administrator, manages SharePoint user access for both internal and external users; trains proposal teams on SharePoint functionality and usage; and is a resource for troubleshooting any user issues
  • Coordinates the setup of color review using the PleaseReview program and distributes feedback reports following the review
  • Coordinates non-employee account setup using internal tools and processes
  • With guidance from the Proposal Managers, facilitates the scheduling of team kick offs and status calls, leadership gate reviews, and other teleconference and in-person meetings
  • Participates in Color Review Team comment adjudication
  • Assists in planning and coordinating onsite meetings and oral presentations to customers
  • Assist and lead post-proposal submittal activities, including completing Key Personnel Tracker
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of work experience, or Master's and 3+ years of experience. 
  • Experience supporting proposals in the Federal market space
  • Working knowledge of proposal production, word, and graphic applications
  • Proficiency in MS office applications including proficiency in SharePoint with experience in file configuration and management
  • Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience supporting oral presentation efforts as part of proposal lifecycle
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks across simultaneous projects
  • Experience working with and supporting virtual teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work under tight timelines
  • Able to work overtime/weekends on short notice
  • Able to work independently with all levels of management
  • Top Secret Clearance w/ SCI eligibility or ability to obtain
  • US Citizenship

Target Salary Range$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
