Loma Linda Post Acute is committed to providing exceptional care and enhancing the quality of life for our residents. We are seeking a creative, compassionate, and organized Activities Director to lead and develop engaging programs that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Position Summary
The Activities Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a comprehensive activity program that meets the social, recreational, and therapeutic needs of our residents in accordance with federal, state, and facility guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a monthly activities calendar that meets resident interests and needs
  • Coordinate group and one-on-one activities, including special events and outings
  • Complete resident assessments and care plan documentation related to activities
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations (including Title 22) and facility policies
  • Supervise and train activities staff and volunteers
  • Maintain activity supplies, equipment, and budget
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance resident engagement
  • Encourage resident participation and promote a positive, inclusive environment
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in activities programming in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred
  • Must meet California Title 22 requirements for Activities Director (or eligible)
  • Activity Director Certification (ADC) or willingness to obtain preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional holidays
