Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of each patient's unique needs, ensuring optimal recovery and mobility.
  • Maintain a manageable caseload that allows for dedicated one-on-one time with patients, fostering a trusting and constructive therapeutic alliance.
  • Implement effective orthopedic outpatient care techniques, backed by your previous experience and knowledge of best practices in physical therapy.
  • Offer non-surgical alternatives for pain management, emphasizing rehabilitation techniques that aim to reduce dependence on medications.
  • Design and adjust comprehensive treatment plans using diverse modalities, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education.
  • Develop customized fitness and wellness programs to support not just rehabilitation, but also the long-term health goals of patients.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver interventions that may include strengthening exercises, stretching routines, and balance training.
  • Encourage and motivate patients to actively participate in their rehabilitation process, helping to instill confidence in their capabilities.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitoring patient progress and adjusting plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
  • Document all interactions and treatment outcomes meticulously for every patient, using electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT to maintain clear and comprehensive records.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is mandatory for this role.

  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute effective exercise programs tailored to individual needs.

Preferred Experience
