The Activities Coordinator, also titled The Active Life Coordinator, is a valuable member of our Petals Memory Care Program which provides our residents with supportive and person-centered social connections to inspire joy, meaningful interactions, and life fulfillment. Some of the elements of our Petals Program include Physical Wellbeing, Creative Arts, Social Connections, Waters Academy, Integrated & Spiritual Therapies and Music & Arts Enrichment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Play a meaningful role in developing and executing activities which help our residents thrive. Some examples of activities include exercise classes, creative arts, culinary creations, social interactions, personal engagements, off-site excursions, etc.
  • Assist residents with activities of their choice which may include group activities and/or personal engagements

Qualifications/Skills/Abilities

  • A love of seniors and passion for enhancing lives through meaningful interactions
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and positive rapport with residents, team members, and families
  • Previous experience working with seniors and/or experience in memory care, recreational therapy, education, hospitality, or related areas preferred
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends, as appropriate
