Position Overview

The Performance Marketing Manager will lead the planning, execution, measurement, and optimization of digital marketing efforts that support Matrix Fitness in the U.S. commercial market. This role is responsible for amplifying the global brand locally through U.S. social media, email marketing, paid digital campaigns, customer journey campaigns, digital content promotion, strategic partnership activation, event support, and performance reporting.


Working closely with U.S. marketing, sales, product marketing, strategic account marketing, and global digital teams, this role will help drive qualified traffic to Matrix's digital properties, increase engagement with key customer segments, support lead generation and nurture efforts, and provide actionable insights to improve digital campaign effectiveness. This role does not own global website strategy, global social strategy, digital brand governance, B2C marketing, or global subsidiary education, but will collaborate with global marketing to ensure that U.S. website needs, campaign priorities, and market insights are represented.


Responsibilities:

U.S. Social Media and Digital Content Amplification

• Manage the U.S. social media strategy, content calendar, and channel execution for assigned Matrix commercial social channels.

• Coordinate with U.S. marketing team members who own customer stories, testimonials, case studies, product content, thought leadership, and event messaging to adapt approved content for social and paid digital use.

• Create and adapt social-first content using tools such as Canva and approved brand templates, including post copy, simple graphics, short-form assets, campaign variations, paid social messaging, and calls to action.

• Identify opportunities to amplify local U.S. stories, customer activity, installations, events, partnerships, programs, and industry engagement across digital channels.

• Support digital activation of approved strategic partnership content, including partner posts, expert contributor content, co-branded social assets, video clips, educational content, and paid amplification opportunities.

• Manage organic and paid social execution, including scheduling, campaign setup, monitoring, engagement tracking, performance analysis, and optimization.

• Evaluate social performance and recommend improvements to content mix, posting cadence, audience strategy, paid support, and campaign alignment.

• Quarterly reporting


Digital Campaign Management

• Plan, execute, and optimize U.S. digital marketing campaigns that support lead generation, customer engagement, product launches, strategic account marketing, vertical market initiatives, and event follow-up.

• Support customer journey and nurture efforts by managing digital touchpoints, including paid media, social, email, landing page recommendations, calls to action, and performance insights, in partnership with lead generation, CRM, and marketing operations teams.

• Partner with lead generation and CRM teams to ensure digital campaigns have clear conversion paths, appropriate forms, tracking, and follow-up workflows.

• Support email marketing strategy and execution, including campaign planning, list segmentation, content coordination, deployment, testing, performance tracking, and optimization.

• Coordinate paid digital campaigns across relevant channels, including paid social, search, display, retargeting, and sponsored digital placements.

• Plan and execute digital campaign support for strategic partnerships and expert contributors, including content promotion, paid media support, landing page coordination, audience targeting, UTM tracking, and performance reporting.

• Create, adapt, and manage digital campaign assets in partnership with creative and marcom teams, including social graphics, email content, landing page copy, paid media variations, UTM links, and reporting dashboards.

• Collaborate with product marketing, marcom, sales, and strategic account marketing to ensure campaign messaging, creative assets, and calls to action are aligned with U.S. commercial priorities.

• Measure campaign performance and provide actionable insights on traffic, engagement, conversions, lead quality, content performance, and return on digital investment.


Website Traffic, Analytics, and Performance Reporting

• Utilize Google metric tracking suite for the U.S. Matrix website and provide regular reporting on traffic trends, source performance, user behavior, content engagement, and conversion activity.

• Track and report performance for supporting U.S. strategic account sites, campaign landing pages, event pages, and stand-alone digital properties.

• Track digital performance for strategic partnership initiatives, including referral traffic, landing page engagement, social performance, paid media results, and conversion activity where applicable.

• Identify opportunities to improve digital traffic, engagement, and conversion through content promotion, campaign optimization, SEO-informed recommendations, and improved digital journeys.

• Partner with global marketing on U.S. website needs, ensuring U.S. market priorities, campaigns, events, and customer needs are communicated and represented.

• Develop monthly or quarterly digital performance reports with clear insights, implications, and recommended actions for the U.S. marketing team and leadership.

• Monitor competitor digital activity, industry content trends, and customer engagement patterns to inform U.S. campaign planning.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital marketing, business, or related field required, or equivalent experience.


Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in B2B, commercial products, fitness, wellness, hospitality, equipment, manufacturing, or another sales-led industry.

• Demonstrated experience managing organic and paid social media channels, including content planning, campaign execution, audience targeting, and performance optimization.

• Experience planning and deploying email marketing campaigns, nurture campaigns, or customer journey campaigns.

• Experience managing paid digital campaigns, including paid social, search, display, retargeting, or sponsored media.

• Strong working knowledge of GA4, digital campaign reporting, and performance analysis.

• Experience using CRM, marketing automation, or customer journey platforms. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights would be a plus.

• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt messaging for social, email, paid media, and campaign landing pages.

• Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Express, or similar tools to create and adapt digital assets for social media, email, and paid digital campaigns.

• Experience managing multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.

• Experience with GEO preferred

• B2B lead generation experience preferred.

Work environment:
