Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits is currently seeking anย Associate Brand Activation Manager to support a broadย portfolio of wine brands, including fine wine. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, this role plays a key part in executing brand strategies and below the line programming, serving as a day to day brand steward, and supporting trade and sales initiatives across the portfolio. This role partners closely with internal cross functional teams and external agencies to bring brand plans to life, build brand awareness, and support market growth. This position is based out of our Stamford, CT office and offers flexible work arrangements (requiring in person collaboration 2 days per week).

Responsibilities:

  • Own below the line annual programming from briefing through execution, including timelines, asset coordination, cross functional alignment, and post activation recaps
  • Manage day to day Shopper Marketing Agency coordination, including timelines, inputs, and feedback routing, escalating strategic decisions as needed
  • Lead vintage release tracking and wine scoring submissions, including end to end process ownership and calendar management across portfolio wine brands
  • Support the development, publishing, and maintenance of sales and trade materials (trade standards, tools of trade, technical sheets) for key brands
  • Serve as a sales liaison by translating brand priorities into clear, timely tools and guidance for the field and ensuring feedback flows back to the brand team
  • Manage product information and content updates across internal systems and product apps, partnering with IT as needed (including DASH)
  • Conduct market and competitive performance analysis using syndicated data, brand research, and competitive assessments to surface actionable insights
  • Partner with Insights, Business Intelligence, and Channel Marketing teams to identify growth opportunities and ensure brand standards are upheld across all channels

Qualifications (ABM):

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing; MBA preferred
  • 3+ years of marketing or media agency experience; beverage alcohol industry experience highly valued
  • Demonstrated interest in or experience with fine wine, including exposure to varietals, regions, vintages, and trade or PR environments
  • Ability to manage multiple brands and priorities across a diverse portfolio in a fast paced environment
  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills with high attention to detail and sound judgment, particularly in regulated categories
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with experience in syndicated data (IRI) preferred
  • Proficient in creating clear, compelling marketing presentations and materials
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated ownership, accountability, and team player qualities
  • Solid understanding of financial P&L and budget management
