About the Practice

The Mergers & Acquisitions / Corporate group in Wilmington represents clients in a broad range of sophisticated transactional and corporate matters. The practice advises on mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, private equity investments, joint ventures, and restructurings, with a particular emphasis on Delaware corporate law, fiduciary duties, and alternative entity structures involving Delaware LLCs and limited partnerships.

Attorneys in the group also serve as key advisors on corporate governance matters and Delaware law issues that arise across complex national and cross-border transactions.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking an associate attorney with approximately 4–6 years of experience with a strong background in mergers and acquisitions and general corporate transactional work.

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

  • M&A transactions and broader corporate deal work
  • Private equity investments, joint ventures, and recapitalizations
  • Delaware corporate law issues, including fiduciary duties and governance matters
  • Alternative entities such as LLCs and limited partnerships

Candidates should have strong academic credentials, excellent drafting and analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced transactional environment. Experience advising on Delaware law matters is highly valued.

Compensation

The expected base salary range for this position is $310,000 to $390,000 annually, with final compensation determined based on experience and other job-related factors in accordance with applicable law. This role may also be eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.
