Job description

Overview

Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA

Location: Hanover, PA

Schedule: Per diem. 8-5 Mondays, possible coverage Tues & Thurs to support OT. There is a possibility for additional hours if willing to cover at Carlise / Camp Hill / Harrisburg. 

Compensation: Starting at $25.hr, increase based on your experience. 

Our Select Physical Therapy outpatient center in Hanover is seeking a licensed COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) to provide quality patient care. We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love. GIVE INFO ON THE CLINIC, TYPES OF PATIENTS< ETC.

Responsibilities
  • Detail-Oriented: Observe, note and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals and ensure proper documentation of patient care.
  • Education: Teach patients new ways of approaching tasks and how to break down activities into achievable components.
  • High Standard of Care: Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/procedures and applicable regulations and corporate policies
  • Personalized Treatment: Under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist, optimize patients' functional abilities and skills.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program
  • State COTA license (or license eligible)
  • CPR certification
  • Valid state driver's license
